Local film company makes free video for rock group

SV2 Studios, a Greensboro film production company, says it has helped create a music video for the local rock band Dreamkiller.
Dreamkiller's song "Self-Evident" was chosen by SV2 Studios out of more than 50 submitted by various bands in an SV2 contest that offered a free music video to a local band.
The video was shot in two days in June at Somewhere Else Tavern in Greensboro. Other local businesses also contributed to the effort, including Makeup by Kathy, J&S Cafeteria, Real Catering, Cakes by Carlee and Jam's Deli.
The video will be premiered at Somewhere Else Tavern July 13 at 8 p.m. Dreamkiller, a punk-influenced rock band, will also perform there.
SV2 Studios is owned by Stephen van Vuuren.
