Teenage pop sensation Justin Bieber has 'racks of servers' dedicated to him on Twitter.

According to Dustin Curtis, a designer who interviewed an employee at the wildly popular social media outlet, the 16-year-old pop sensation makes up 3 per cent of Twitter conversation, reports the New York Daily News.

Curtis said that 'racks of servers' are dedicated to Bieber, who has more than 5 million followers on Twitter."

Tech blog Gizmodo.com later confirmed that the astronomical number was valid.

Other hot social media savvy celebs, includes Ashton Kutcher, Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian.

Each has more than 4 million fans living vicariously through each of their 140-character notes - and, like the Biebs himself, there are additional servers dedicated to each star's traffic.

Curtis also noted that there are three things that reliably drive traffic at Twitter: "(a) bashing airlines, (b) bashing Comic Sans, (c) Justin Bieber," he said. (ANI)
